SIZZLING HEAT in NY & CT

New York and Connecticut are under a heat advisory  and as the day goes on, temperatures are climbing into dangerous territories.  Many schools are having early dismissal or no school at all due to power outages.

                                         

PLEASE remember WATER, WATER, WATER!!  Drink lots of it – pour it over you – or take a dip in the pool,ocean, lake or jump in the shower!

                                                                                

 

If possible, stay indoors – please leave the yard work for another day! Dehydration and heat exhaustion can hit you quickly and can be very dangerous!

If you need to go out, wear light colored clothing that is loose – and don’t forget a hat and sunscreen AND a water bottle.  

My heart goes out to those who have no power and those who must be out doors due to work – like my husband who’s melting in Manhattan!
