Appointment today in Danbury, CT – over in the Rivington Complex.  Always a please to show there and to view these lovely units!

As I said good-bye to my clients, it was so cold that I couldn’t finish my sentence!  Brrrrr!

After my appointment, it was back home – dinner – and back to work!

Day 185:

Yahoo!  It’s Friday!!

Started the day with a morning appointment in Danbury CT – a townhouse in the Lakewood complex – a great unit with lots of room right on the Danbury/New Fairfield border.  There are no interior photos of this unit, so I will so my best to give you a tour… picture a walk-up unit – eliminating anyone above you possibly making noise – walk into a spacious Living Room with Fireplace, Balcony and Vaulted Ceilings – Lead into the Kitchen with Breakfast Bar, pantry and Dinning Room with views of the woods – also, one of the 3 bedrooms in on this level – which has been converted into a study with shelving on all four walls – lastly, 1/2 a bath.  Moving on up to the 2nd floor to 2 Bedrooms and a Full Bath.  This unit also includes a garage!

From the Lakewood complex, my client and I headed to view 4 more townhouses in the Shepherd Hill complex – which is a hop and a skip from I-84.  I always enjoy viewing identical models – but all so different with each owners choices in flooring, paint, furniture,…

Afterwards, I had a quick lunch at home and went to the office until my afternoon appointment – a home in Patterson, NY.   After my client left, I went to pre-view a neighborhood in Quail Ridge – also in Patterson…

On my way home, I added more listing sheets to the brochure box outside, in front of one of my listings…

Before dinner, I decided to try something out.  I had read that to take a great exterior photo of a home, wait 1/2 an hour after sunset,  turn on all the lights of the windows that will be photographed – and snap a picture…

Well, I’m going to try this again.  This time I have to turn on the lights in 4 other areas of the house.

After dinner, it was Bunco in New Fairfield!

HERITAGE HILLS – Somers, NY

HERITAGE HILLS is located in the town of Somers, NY in Westchester County and borders Putnam County.  Somers is conveniently located near I-684 and the Metro North Commuter Railroad which can be used in either neighboring towns of Purdy’s, Goldens Bridge or Katonah.

 Heritage Village has a philosophy of luxury and village living with over 2,500 condominiums on 1,100 acres of rolling , wooded countryside with spacious views – of which almost 40% is retained as open space.

So much to do within or take advantage of Heritage Hills Shuttle Service to the nearby restaurants and shopping areas as well as the Metro North Commuter Station.

As of 8/23/10 – there are 42 units available for sale – ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms for $269,900 to $799,000.

Rivington, a WCI Community in Danbury, Connecticut – is one of the areas newest complexes.

• THE HILLS – for families of all sizes – is located on 321 acres between exits 1 & 2 off I-84 and approximately 60 minutes from NYC.  This neighborhood has a clubhouse, playground and outdoor swimming pool.
