My Life as a Realtor – Day 34
My Life as a Realtor ~
Day 34:
Another day come and gone – summer is quickly coming to an end and it’s making me depressed. I LOVE SUMMER! Don’t care for the humidity, and this summer has not been bad. So, I really, really don’t want summer to end.
Worked from home today – phone calls, e-mails, potential new client…
Then a trip to the A & P in Danbury with Sara and Amanda. I enjoy taking one or a few of the kids with me. The girls did all the recycling while I covered over half of my shopping. They also stood in line at the deli and helped bag the groceries and pack the car – the rental from Enterprise – Ford Focus – that will be returned since Joe is in Portugal. Nice little car, has a built in I-Pod player and the girls and I had fun listening to all my songs! Ha! They only like a few of them – here’s one –

Then back home…
About to pull into my driveway…
And the best part of the day, I finally spoke with Joe! I had been trying all day, but he, his parents, brother and family and his sister and family – who are all there on vacation – went to Fatima – the Holy Land of Portugal.

We downloaded Skype to the girls mini Dell computers – since they have a built in web cam – so, we not only spoke with Joe – we saw him and he us – Skype is so cool!
Every year that my in-laws go to Portugal, they always visit Fatima and then take advantage of the over 2 hour trip and take in a few other beautiful places. One other place that they also always visit is Nazare – which is located on the Atlantic coast. This beautiful beach with panoramic views of crystal blue water is also one of my favorite places to visit. The view from the top is magnificent!

My Life as a Realtor – Day 13
My Life as a Realtor ~
Day 13:
Today, 1 appointment – a short sale in Danbury, CT. Confirmed 2 other appointments for later this week. 2 new Lead Routers – I was in contact with both and it’s interesting that they are looking for similar listings – in the same area and almost the same price range.
Spent lots of time on the computer today – maybe a total of 10 hours. During which a dove flew down, looking for seeds that fall from the bird feeders. As I worked, he just sat and looked at me – for the longest time – too cute!

For dinner, I made pork loin with zucchini and beans – potatoes and salad. Joe is still working nights – he ate dinner and left with snacks. Tonight, Joe’s snacksconsisted of… 2 bananas, 2 oranges, 2 clementines, a peach, a nectarine, a granola bar, a slice of cheese danish, a bag of cherries, cheese, low sodium chips, strawberry Greek yogurt and lots of drinks. Please don’t ever ask what our weekly grocery bill is – I’ve blocked it out of my head.
Now, while still working, I’m watching Jon & Kate Plus 8 – anticipating their new episode tonight at 9pm.
Thanksgiving Day
Oh My! It’s almost Thanksgiving Day – and I’m still looking at different recipes and ideas – always wanting to surprise my guests!
Of course – The Food Network is my FAVORITE!
Between working with all my clients – approximately 8 to 10 hours a day on the computer– along with appointments viewing homes and being in the office – AND let’s not forget the family!– 5 kids and my hubby – which equals to many beds to be made – 4 to 6 loads of laundry a day – dinner EVERY night as a family and constantly cleaning, dusting and picking up after everyone – including Tisha – our dog, Moe – our cat, Chico, Cha-Cha and Fofita our Cockatiels and all the fish! Whew! I will squeeze in my baking, cooking and preparing for Thanksgiving Day with pleasure!
and baking…
and preparing…
and I will be drinking lots of coffee!
Off to an appointment – the supermarket for the 5th time this week! and a few more errands… HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY EVE TO ALL!!
